I'm excited for NaNoWriMo this year. It's usually the one time I'm able to focus on my writing. Not sure why I can't carve out the time the other 11 months, but this is the way things are for me.
I wanted to create a small list of things that I plan on focusing on during October. Of course, I was supposed to have already started this seeing as how I confirmed that I would be participating in NaNo two weeks ago, so Preptober would be a "must." Ah well. What are some of the things you're doing to prepare for NaNoWriMo this year? If you aren't participating, what are some of the things you like to do before you start working on your story?
TO DO:
Decide which craft books I want to read
Gather up story related materials
Create list of things to research
Set up Scrivener
Decide if I want to vlog for personal viewing..
Do I want to use Notions to keep things organized?
Re-read book 1 and scenes of book 2
Update story notebook with new ideas
Decide on writing location
Print out Sarra Cannon's Preptober workbook
Calendar block schedule
Create wall map?
Character interviews
Plotting notebook
